CLASSIC PEANUT BUTTER COOKIE RECIPE



I have been using this peanut butter cookie recipe for years and it never disappoints! These cookies turn out perfectly every time!


Ingredients


  • 1 cup butter (I use vegan becel)

  • 1 cup peanut butter (You can use crunchy)

  • 1 cup white sugar

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda



Preheat oven to 375 (350 if using convect bake).

Cream butter, sugars, peanut butter and eggs in a bowl.

Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Roll dough into 1" balls on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Flatten each ball with a fork.

Bake for 9-10 minutes or until cookies start to brown.
