Follow these quick and easy steps to bring ANY pasta to the next level.

SEASON YOUR BOILING WATER
So many people skip this absolutely NECESSARY step when prepping their water to boil pasta noodles. Noodles are simply egg and flour, and require adding salt when boiling to bring them to life! Don't be shy with the salt. Many 5-star Italian chefs recommend adding a teaspoon of salt into boiling water for a family sized serving of pasta. Another tip? Go one step further- add Italian seasoning or a mixture of basil and oregano to your noodle water and get those flavours absorbing right from the get go!

DRAIN, DON'T STRAIN
Next time you finish boiling your pasta, instead of straining, use the lid from your pot to empty MOST, not ALL of the water. This is an age old tip from the best pasta makers in the world. Reserve some (a tablespoon or two) of your boiled pasta water and leave it in the pot with the noodles after draining. This will stop your noodles from sticking to the pot and more importantly it will stop them from sticking together when you're ready to serve!

SECRET INGREDIENT
This one is sneaky- but will satisfy your taste buds in the silkiest most unexpected way. After draining your pasta, add one teaspoon of butter to your noodles. Gently stir in to lightly coat the noodles (making sure pot has been removed from heat before this step). Not only will butter add the creamiest texture to your pasta but it will also assist in preventing the noodles from sticking together before serving, AND after refrigerating, IF there are any leftovers!!
