My littlest love turned TWO on July 4th and there is nothing she loves more than Baby Shark! I have to admit, I find the whole phenomenon kind of, well, obnoxious, but she loves it! We had to go with this theme for her second birthday and I'm in love with how it turned out. I swapped out the traditional colours for more girlie options and the pink, teal and purple combo was oh so dreamy!
The Tutu Dresses and Glasses were from Tutu Love which is an adorable small shop here in Calgary. I love the texture of these stunning dresses and the girls had so much fun twirling the day away! The bodice was a soft velvet and the colours matched our theme perfectly. Tutu Love also sells hair bows and tut skirts if that is more your thing.
My gorgeous cookies were a gift from my insanely talented friend With Love By Simone and if anyone can make your cookie dreams come true, it's this girl! Not only are they adorable, but they are actually so yummy! Like I'm talking eat 3 in one sitting yummy. I'm 100% speaking from experience. Haha! She is a true cookie artist.
My cake was ordered from a local baker called Jelly Creations. She has fantastic prices and can honestly make any design you wish. She nailed my request!
Some of the most impactful decor items came from Made for Me. They created the large Baby Shark banner above the cradenza, the water bottle labels we used and the smaller Baby Sharks hanging from the crepe paper backdrop. The large poster was one of my favourite parts because I was able to personalize it with Noa's name and our theme. They helped me choose custom colours so my vision was perfect. This company is THE BEST!!
Another great company we used to make the day special was Yard Cards. They do front yard displays for any occasion that can be customized as well. Our display was set up the night before so when Noa woke up in the morning there was a surprise waiting for her outside! The displays are incredibly sturdy, waterproof and wind resistant. Don't let the elements or seasons deter you because they have it all covered! The banners and critters used are very high quality.
We gave some Dough Party Favors from a local company called Little Larch and they were a hit! The dough is similar to the big name brand we all know only it is made with all natural ingredients, natural colours and dyes, and essential oils for scent. Awesome right! On top of the Dough was some glitter and I know this was my girls' fav part!
I purchased the balloons and streamers for the backdrop I made at Party City and loved how this DIY turned out!
I hope this party leaves you inspired to celebrate with a theme like Baby Shark, but done to your own taste!
