I love spending time photographing mamas. Motherhood is such a beautifully challenging and rewarding journey, and the intense significance of capturing these new moments of the journey makes me tear up. Jill had me over to photograph her new little love, Odette, when she was just over a week old. My goal for this session was to preserve the quiet (and sometimes not!) moments of their new life together in their little home. Jill snuggled, nursed, and rocked Odette. I wanted them to just be. No schedule. No props. Just enjoying their relationship on the outside of mama’s belly.
