DO LUXURY FACIAL PRODUCTS WORK BETTER?
I’m in the never ending journey to seek THE skincare and make up products that’ll provide me with the youthful, radiant, healthy look with minimal effort. As a mom, I want to slow down time on my face but I really don't have the luxury of spending a lot of time on it.
I decided to approach "luxury" in a different way. I wondered if luxury facial products really do work better? I mean, what’s the big deal on those high price tag skin care products? Here are some products I decided to try out:
it’s a luxury every time I open the packaging, not only because of the price but the experience and result. The mask comes in two separate parts – the upper part for above your cheekbone the bottom part for lips and surrounding area. The mask is made with hydro gel and can be left on your face for good 30 minutes, don’t forget to squeeze out the remaining serum from the packaging. Its clear in color so you won’t scare your kids running the other way. (I once wore a black mask and Victoria made me swear that I will never wear that again in front of her) Most importantly the mask hydrates your skin and leave this plump tightened feel afterwards.
I started using this product out of curiosity. How can mud turn into foam? Does it really cleanse your face? You start by applying the cleanser on your dry face then slowly massage it with small amount of water at a time. Its probably the texture of the yellow clay, I felt like it provide me gentle exfoliation without stripping my face. I absolute love the nice sweet coconut smell that it came with. My face definitely felt nice and soft and doesn’t have the dry flakey feel, but I can’t say that my face is clean.
It’s one of those splurges that you are still wonder why you bought it, but you couldn’t resist the urge to see what’s the big deal. I’ve tried both the soft cream and the original and neither versions made any difference to my skin asides from the application rituals. Most of the time, I actually don’t find the cream as hydrated compare to other brands. By mid-day, my face usually is screaming out of thirst. With other brand start to come out with luxurious skin care lines, I will continue my quest in seeking THE cream.
It all started with a sample and this product completely threw me off. The name is quite misleading, the name says it’s a mask but this is more like a leave on cream that you target your expression and fine lines. I use it as my eye cream mostly to fill those tiny fine crow’s feet and under eye lines from all those pulling and winking. It works like a charm! After only a week of testing this product, I can literally start to see the line fading away … perhaps I’m imagining it, I’ll get back to you on this in a month.
If you are looking to slim and lift your face, look no more! This tool micro-vibrates 6000 times a minutes, giving the facial muscle the right amount of stimulation along with right technique will give you the result you are looking for. Remember to pull out your budget serum, as you’ll need a ton when you massage your face. You massage your face by using a firm non pulling upward motion from your chin to the back of your earlobe. If you feel a sore sensation and slight redness on your skin while massage – keep it up!
